The following means of transport are available to you for getting to places in Bangkok or to the nearby provinces:Private Cars and Vans
You can rent a car or van from one of a large number of car rent companies.
Limousines
For transfers between Bangkok City and Don Muang Airport, Thai Airways International provides an air-conditioned limousine service at a fixed fare of 300 Baht and a minivan service at 100 Baht per person.

Taxis
Most are installed with a meter and are quite new and dependable. Other, older taxis do not have meters and the fare must be negotiated first.
No tip is expected.
Samlors Also known as Tuk-Tuks in Thai
Samlors are 3-wheeled taxis without a meter. Fares should be negotiated beforehand.
Buses
Air-Conditioned City Buses
The fares range from 6 Baht to 16 Baht, depending on length of journey.
Ordinary City Buses
The ordinary city buses are usually overcrowded, but the fare is about 3.50 Baht for the whole journey.
Boats
There are two motor boat services on the Chao Phraya River. One is between Nonthaburi and Thanon Tok, the other between Pathum Thani and Bangkholaem.
Trains
The State Railway of Thailand runs express, fast and ordinary trains throughout the country. It also operates an express train between Hua Lamphong station and Don Muang Airport.
Air Travel
Bangkok International Airport "Suvarnaphumi" (su-wan-na-poom) is officially open. All domestic and international flights now arrive to and depart from the new airport.
Domestic flight services are operated by Thai Airways International and by Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, PB Air, Thai Air Asia and Orient Thai Airline.
